Donations

We welcome and greatly appreciate donations to the Wetaskiwin Public Library.

Our Read, Buy, Donate program is a great way to give your own book purchases to the libary once you’ve read them, and receive a receipt in-kind.  If you have a book that you have purchased in the last three months with the original receipt, you can donate it to the library collection and we will provide you with a receipt for its value.

Perhaps you’re an avid book reader…and book buyer?  It’s easy to accumulate a small library in your own home!  If those books are taking up valuable space and you need to find a new home for them, think of the Wetaskiwin Public Library.  Either for addition to our collection, or as inventory in our used booksale room, we accept book donations.  Please remember that the books must be 5 years old or newer and in good to excellent condition.  We DO NOT accept magazines, text books, condensed books or encylopedia sets.  You may direct any questions regarding book donations to the Information Services Coordinator, at 361-4446.

If you are an individual or service organization and would like to make a monetary donation to the Wetaskiwin Public Library, please call Manisha Khetarpal, Manager of Library Services, at 361-4447.
