We would like to express our great appreciation to John Maude and Susan Quinn for their amazing donation in the amount of $2000 to be earmarked for buying items for our Mystery collection. The library could not exist without donations from local patrons like John and Susan. We thank you.
October 6th Seniors Appreciation Tea
The Wetaskiwin Public Library would like to thank everyone who came out to celebrate this day with us. It was an amazing event, well attended by patrons and presenters alike. Thank you to everyone who made this day a great success -

We appreciate the 'advertising and marketing' space provided by the city of Wetaskiwin's Marketing and Communications department.
Sept 28: Donation of two magazine units
Thank you Stony Plain Public Library for donating the magazine units. We are using one magazine unit for a free lending, book exchange and pay what you please. This unit is placed in the front entrance of the library. The second unit is used to shelve our expanding and growing audio books on CD collection.

Sept 17/18: Book sale
Thank you to all the extremely generous people who came out to our annual book sale and made it such a great success. We raised over $2000 and all funds will go toward future library collection development. Extra special thanks to Catholic Social Services, The Wetaskiwin Public Library Board, and the Friends of the Library Society. We would like to thank the city of Wetaskiwin Public Works for creating a patio and for expanding the seating space by providing and laying out tables and chairs outside and inside the library. Thank you to Ginger for demonstrating the creation of energy beaded bookmarks and Jill for displaying origami creations.
