Lois Hole Library Legacy Program

Lois Hole Library Legacy Program

In honour of the late Lieutenant Governor, Lois Hole, the Lois Hole Library Legacy Program was created to help build the collections in Alberta's libraries. The Legacy Program allows for a donation in the donor's own name, or to honour a friend, family member or organization.

How will my donation make a difference in Wetaskiwin?

  • support enhanced library service in our community by making a donation to Wetaskiwin Public Library for purchase of library materials
  • Honour special occasions in the lives of friends and family - such as birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, retirements etc.
  • Memorial donations to remember our dear friends and family

How will my donation be used?

  • your donation supports and enhances the books and other materials that make up the library collection.
  • One hundred percent of donations from the Lois Hole Library Legacy Program are used to purchase library materials.

How will my donation to the Lois Hole Library Legacy Program be acknowledged?

  • a bookplate bearing the name of your donor or honoree can be placed in the book
  • an acknowledgement will be sent to you and also to those in honor a donation is made, or in case of memorial donations, to the family.
  • an acknowledgement can be placed on our "Wall of Fame" donations page on the Wetaskiwin Public Library's website.
