You can be the first to read that book and then get recognized twice when you donate it to the library.
 
Here is how it works:
 
Go to your favorite bookstore and buy a book by your favorite author. Read the book and then donate it to the Wetaskiwin Public Library and receive acharitable income tax receipt.* You must donate the book (with the original sales receipt) within 3 months of purchase. (The item must be in like-new condition and must be an item that we would add to the collection - as decided by the library cataloguer).
 
If you wish, your name will appear on the book plate inside the cover of each book acknowledging your generosity.
 
*Tax receipts will not be issued without an original sales receipt.  Book must have a value of $10.00 without GST.
